Internal transfers

Where the successful candidate recruited to your role is a current MVDC employee, the ‘on-boarding’ and ‘induction’ processes are replaced with the following transfer process and checklist. While this is a reduced process, there are however still a number of actions that are required, both by the current and new managers, to ensure that the employee is successfully transitioned into their new role.

Anyone who is promoted or transferred from one job to another, either on a permanent or temporary basis within MVDC should receive a suitable introduction to their new role/service. Below is a process document and check list to support managers with transferring a current MVDC employee into their team. It is advisable to work with the current manager and the transferee to understand which aspects of the role the employee needs additional information or guidance on in addition to clarity of roles and responsibilities (e.g. team file sharing) and any additional mandatory training needs.
