Consultation on main employment policies – staff invited to give feedback

It is good practice to update MVDC’S policies from time to time, particularly as our use of technology improves our ability to communicate as has been demonstrated through the pandemic.

With that in mind, HR are proposing to update MVDC’s Disciplinary, Grievance, Absence Management and Capability policies – these can be found below alongside a note summarising the types of changes proposed and the rationale.

Staff Hub and Business Managers have already had the opportunity to comment, we are now inviting any further comments from staff.

If you would like to make any comments please email hr.feedback@molevalley.gov.uk by Monday 29th November.

SLT will consider all feedback received by the relevant date, with a view to finalising the policies by 6th December.

In addition, the Corporate Governance team have worked with HR to make some improvements to the Protection Against Violence at Work policy for which they are also inviting feedback and comments. 

Staff are therefore invited to use the same feedback mechanism and timescales as for the 4 main employment policies.  Any feedback will be passed directly to the Corporate Governance team.
