As a fast moving area, SLT will keep the policy under active review.
Please read the policy and talk to your manager if you have any concerns, or if you do a task or job that puts you at additional risk (e.g. working with vulnerable people or in potential conflict situation).
He/she will review the risk assessment connected to your activities, and may well discuss your vaccination status with you as a part of this. In some cases your manager will need to register your vaccine status by recording it in i-trent. Guidance how to do this is here – (HR Business Systems)
Please be assured the discussion/records will be confined only to achieve the purpose for which it is intended – which is to protect you and our service users for the duration it is determined to be necessary.
Please note that current government policy is that the need for all other identified measures (social distancing, self-isolation, ventilation, enhanced hygiene etc.) remain – even if you have had the vaccine.
If the government position changes, the policy will be reviewed to bring MVDC’s approach into line with it.
