Following the elections last week there is just one change to the political make-up of the Council. The new figures are as follows:
Liberal Democrat – 22
Conservative – 12
Ashtead Independents – 7
We say goodbye to a number of councillors who retired from the Council and welcome a number of new councillors:
- Cllr Huseyin (Bookham North) retired. This seat is now held by Cllr Sarah Chambers
- Cllr Edge (Bookham South) retired. This seat is now held by Cllr James Chambers
- Cllr Elderton (Dorking North) retired. This seat is now held by Cllr Chris Coghlan
- Cllr Loretto (Dorking South) retired. This seat is now held by Cllr Nick Wright
- Cllr Monkman (Holmwoods) retired. This seat is now held by Cllr Rosemary Hobbs
- Cllr Dickson (Leatherhead South) retired. This seat is now held by Cllr Simon Moss
