Mole Valley District Council Seeks A Developer For Riverside Opportunity In Leatherhead

Mole Valley District Council (MVDC), in conjunction with Vail Williams and Freeths LLP, is seeking a developer to progress the opportunity to redevelop a stunning riverside site, just a few minutes’ walk from Leatherhead town centre.

Claire House and James House, like the Swan Centre and Bull Hill, is one of three key sites owned by MVDC and forms part of the Transform Leatherhead regeneration programme.  Located on Bridge Street, the 0.8 acre / 0.32 ha site is being offered to developers as a long leasehold (potential option for freehold) with the benefit of outline planning consent for 35 residential units (including affordable housing), a ground floor café and community space.

The redevelopment of this key riverside site will form the first phase of the Transform Leatherhead Riverside Quarter project, designed to improve the gateway into the town and enhance activity around the River Mole and Town Bridge.
