A revised waste and recycling collection will be in effect for two weeks over the festive period which means the usual days that bins are put out will be changing for a limited period of time. The fortnightly garden waste collection service will also be temporarily suspended from 28 December to 8 January 2021.
Mole Valley District Council’s Cabinet Member for the Environment, Councillor Claire Malcomson, said: “As in previous years, the days when your waste and recycling bins need to go out will be changing slightly over the festive period. It is really important to make a note of these changes and put the correct bin out on the right day so that you don’t miss out on them being collected. The changes are listed on the Bin Collection 2021 leaflet you will have received in the post last month. If this is not close to hand, visit www.molevalley.gov.uk/festivecollections to check instead.
