“Following the government’s announcement that England will enter a second national lockdown period from Thursday 5 November this week, we are working today on the impact that will have on our services, residents, businesses and staff.
“The four week lockdown means that everyone must stay at home, with a limited set of exemptions to that rule. As it stands, the expectation is that the regional and local approach will be reinstated from Wednesday 2 December.
“The lockdown means that pubs, restaurants and non-essential shops must shut temporarily once again. The new measures will also impose curbs on travel, ban households from mixing inside homes and cancel church services.
