Guidance on DBS Checks

The DBS helps employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups, including children.

There are a number of roles in Mole Valley that require a DBS check as part of their pre-employment checks and checks need to be repeated every three years. The responsibility for carrying out DBS checks is held by the line manager for the role.
