Message from Aidan in Planning:
On Wednesday 12 July, I attended the funeral of Connie Cunningham, who died aged 91 on 6th June 2023. Connie worked at MVDC for some 40 years, starting with its predecessor, Dorking UDC, in the 1950s. In the latter part of her career she was head of administration in the planning department, a role she held until her retirement in 1996.. She lived independently in her own home in Wathen Road, Dorking, right up to the end.
Connie is a survived by her daughter Pamela, and a number of grandchildren.
