Meet our Exec Head of Service for Transformation and Partnerships! – Seonaid

“Hello everyone, I wanted to introduce myself so you can put a face to the name if you see me wandering around the office! I’m Seonaid (pronounced Sho-na) and I’m the new Executive Head of Service for Transformation and Partnerships. I’ve been a Civil Servant for nearly 20 years (mostly in the Home Office and Defra) and I’m pleased to have this opportunity work closely with residents and businesses in Mole Valley.

I’m looking forward to meeting you all in team meetings and forums in the next few months as we start to think about how we can make sure our services and roles work best for us and our customers. And, I’m always happy to have a coffee and a chat about what it means to “build a continuous improvement culture”, what it’s like to work in central government, or about my role as chair of the Civil Service Working Through Cancer Network…

I’ve lived in Dorking for 14 years now, so I care passionately about protecting and enhancing our beautiful environment and making sure our local communities thrive – and I know my family and friends will also be holding me to account! ? “
