Monday 9th January to Friday 13th January the network is going to be subjected to risk assessment to obtain a Public Service Network (PSN) compliance certificate.
This is a yearly exercise that we go through. It is being undertaken by an external company.
The purpose of PSN compliance
The PSN uses a ‘walled garden’ approach, which enables access to Internet content and shared services to be controlled. This is because the security of any one user connected to the PSN affects both the security of all other users and the network itself.
What to expect
We are not expecting any interruptions to our network and systems but please do let ICT know if you notice anything unusual.
