Shine Awards

Darrell received a well-deserved Shine Award.

“Darrell provided excellent support and guidance to me and my tenant when the latter faced homelessness unless we could find affordable accommodation for him. I had no previous experience of dealing with the Council, with housing options and benefits or social services. The tenant is elderly and suffering mild dementia and could not have managed this on his own.

From our first meeting Darrell provided clear guidance, explained everything in an uncomplicated manner and showed great patience. Over a period of 4-5 months Darrell was exceptionally proactive taking the initiative to keep in touch and made sure that we were making progress.

Above all Darrell showed great humanity and made it his business to ensure a good outcome. I greatly appreciate his support.
