St Martin’s Walk
There are minor disruptions at St Martin’s Walk car park in Dorking due to specialist surveys taking place. The surveys assess a number of construction-related elements including concrete and drainage to help inform the refurbishment work to be undertaken later in the year and will last until mid-April.
The car park remains operational throughout, although some areas will be cordoned off for short periods of time.
Southside – partial closure
Ground survey works are also planned for Southside car park in Dorking. Sections of the car park will be closed in April, after Easter Bank Holiday weekend:
- Tuesday 19 April – AM – Central section near Sainsbury’s and Lyons’s Court access road
- Wednesday 20 April – AM – Far end towards Rose Hill
- Thursday 21 April – AM – Far end towards Lyons Court
The car park will remain open throughout the works, with deliveries to Sainsbury’s and Robert Dyas being maintained.
All surveys & works will be overseen by our consultants and officers will be regularly monitoring progress. Advance notice of the works is already in place at St Martins Walks and will be provided at Southside next week.
