It is only in very exceptional circumstances and generally due to additional workload that could not reasonably have been foreseen that employees are able to request to sell a proportion of their annual leave. Individual Executive Head and joint SLT approval will be needed before any requests can be granted.
All employees must take at least four weeks annual leave in any holiday year (pro rata to total working hours).
If a request is made to sell annual leave, Executive Heads/BMTs should first contact hr.admin for further information on this process.
