Our continuous effort in maintaining that MVDC websites are accessible will not be a surprise to anyone.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff who are supporting us in making sure that all users can access services through the website. People may not have a choice when using a public sector website, so, it’s important it works for everyone. The people who need them the most are often the people who find them hardest to use.
We’re pleased to announce, that a Policy on Website Accessibility has been approved by SLT and will now form part of the Induction Pack for new starters.
This is an important policy to be aware of for anyone involved with
- Updating MVDC websites
- Providing content that will be published online
- Managing contractors producing digital content for MVDC
Managers will be responsible to ensure that relevant staff are aware of the policy and who it applies to.
