We’re excited to announce that over 60 Electric Vehicle Charge Points (EVCPs) in our car parks are ready to use! Thank you to our supplier Blink Charging for delivering the project and Coast to Capital for help with funding.
Electric vehicle charge points (EVCPs) have been installed in Dorking, Leatherhead, Ashtead and Bookham:
- Ashtead Peace Memorial Hall, Ashtead – 10
- Lower Shott, Bookham – 10
- Pippbrook, Dorking – 6
- Wathen Road, Dorking – 8
- Reigate Rd, Dorking – 12
- Southside, Dorking – 10
- Randalls Rd, Leatherhead – 10
Swan Centre and Station Road car parks in Leatherhead and St Martin’s Walk in Dorking will follow later this summer. Swan Centre customers are encouraged to use EVCPs in Randalls Road in the meantime.
While out and about, residents and visitors can plug in for up to three hours, with charges being 55p per kilowatt hour of charge. Normal parking charges apply. To use and pay for charging, drivers will need to download the Blink Charging app, or scan the QR code on the charge point. More information can be found on our EVCP page
