The Electoral Services Team is busy preparing for the District and Parish elections on Thursday 4 May 2023.
We need a few more people to work on the polling stations to ensure we are adequately staffed. We require one Presiding Officer and five Poll Clerks. The polling stations where we have vacancies are:
- Cannon Court Evangelical Church
- Bookham Scouting Centre
- Bookham Baptist Church
- Abinger Hammer Village Hall
- Forest Green Village Hall
- Harvest Community Church
You do not need to have any previous experience as full training will be given. Internal members of staff do not need to take time off to work on Elections, but you do need your manager’s approval. Family members and friends (aged 18 or over) are also welcome to volunteer.
If you haven’t volunteered and wish to do so, please email Joe Blythman at electionstaff@molevalley.gov.uk as soon as possible but no later than Monday 3 April 2023.
