St Martin’s Walk car park in Dorking will undergo a major refurbishment project from mid-March until June 2023.
The work will consist of new surfacing and cleaning, new line markings, concrete repairs, decorations and drainage.
To minimise disruption, the work will be split across four phases which will ensure that two thirds of the car park remain open at any one time. Temporary traffic management will be in place.
The car park Permit Holders can park in both short and long term bays for the duration of the works. Parking permits will also be valid in all MVDC long term car parks.
Dorking Friday Market will be open as usual.
The closest alternative car park is Southside, next to Sainsbury’s.
