We have received a thank you letter from the Dorking Area Foodbank which read:-
I am writing to thank you for your recent donation to the Dorking Area Foodbank. We know that everyone in our community will be feeling the increase in the cost of living and are truly grateful that you are able to make a donation. We use all your donations to provide much needed weekly food parcels to families and individuals in the area that are struggling to afford the essentials.
2022 was a very busy year for the Foodbank. The cost of living crisis we are all experiencing has resulted in an increase in demand for our services. We are continuing to offer a warm welcome, an emergency food parcel as well as fuel advice at our twice weekly sessions. This would not be possible without the generous support of local community and organisations in and around Dorking.
