End of year Shine Awards

Steph Webb

Steph was nominated by an external group you said “we wish to nominate Steph for her help and support, responding to messages quickly and efficiently and often jumping on things at the eleventh hour despite her own heavy workload. Despite this added pressure, Steph is always calm and professional, and has always given us the help, support and (where applicable) reassurance required point in time.  Steph is a real asset to Mole Valley District Council and thoroughly deserves recognition for being, in short, consistently excellent”

Leilah Webb

Leilah was nominated by a member of staff who said “Leilah always goes above and beyond to ensure she delivers a good animal warden service. She recently stayed very late with a stray dog at the vets for them to have treatment whilst ensuring that this dog was able to go to a safe kennels. She did all of this keeping in mind all the Mole Valley values and keeping within our policies and procedures which is sometimes a battle with the very emotive subject of pets. Leilah is constantly thrown new problems to deal with and always does this in a professional way, never shying away from the problem and seeking to learn at every opportunity.  Leilah has recently successfully passed her course to become an Animal Licensing Officer”

Jon Keepen

Jon was nominated by a member of staff who said “Jon’s professionalism, patience, and determination during the recent APAS/Portal upgrade to the Cloud has been exemplary. He has worked tirelessly over the past 18 months on a system that he didn’t initiate, to test and try to problem solve as much as he could, liaising with internal and external customers. Through no fault of his own, the upgrade did not run smoothly, however, he has kept working with the suppliers until the numerous issues have been addressed. Although not 100% yet, he has now got a ‘live’ online Portal for our customers. He is a credit to the Planning Team and we feel that he should realise his efforts from his colleagues are appreciated with a SHINE Award”

Well done everyone and thank you from SLT.
