In recent months the Revenues Team have noticed a sharp incline in the number of disruptions they are getting on almost a daily basis from colleagues in other Departments wanting assistance or asking for information from their data set.
With immediate effect they would like to request that “dropping in” and standing next to a Team members desk whilst asking for information needs to stop. In fear of both Data Breaches and the loss of momentum towards own fundamental work levels and what is expected of Team members in their allotted work time, they would like to ask that should a colleague from another Department wish to extract data or information from the core system that they do so via an E-mail to council.tax@molevalley.gov.uk (CTAX) recovery@molevalley.gov.uk (Recovery) and/or business.rates@molevalley.gov.uk (Business Rates) depending on the nature of the enquiry.
At a time when work levels continue to grow and come under further scrutiny it’s really important that there is an immediate resolution to constant disruptions / interruptions.
