It has recently come to our attention that an officer from another council accidentally sent some confidential information to a third party.
We thought that this would serve as a timely reminder to all staff that even when information does not contain personal data it is vital that it is treated in the same way if it is confidential.
If such information is accidentally made public it could result in reputational damage or a loss of confidence in the council.
