Please can all staff be very careful about their web browsing.
Today we had a ‘puzzle’ website redirect to a fake Microsoft Malware page in an attempt to trick them into calling the phone number and be scammed.
ICT put systems and security in place to block sites and check for malware, but the Internet is an evolving place, and we are always playing catch up.
In this instance it was an off-network PC – much like your home PC
Please remember your Cyber Security Training and stop the scammers!
Remember if you have any concerns when seeing messages like the above, immediately contact the ICT Service Desk x3888 or via the portal out of hours.
