To start the day, breakfast goodies will be available in the break-out area from 8.00am on a first come first served basis.
At 10.30am, there will be an All Staff Briefing in the Martineau Hall (Dorking Halls) where the Leader will talk to us about his vision for the coming municipal year and Karen will update on some changes within SLT.
At lunchtime, we are inviting any teams who would like to have a picnic on the lawn outside to please bring their own chairs, blankets and food.
To round off the day, everyone is welcome to join us on a Summer’s evening walk from Dorking to Brockham.
We will meet in the Pippbrook car park at around 5.15pm and stroll up to the start of the Deepdene trail on Deepdene Avenue. We will spend a bit of time looking around the gardens before taking a beautiful walk through the countryside finishing at the pub in Brockham.
We estimate it will take around two hours and transport will be arranged for those who need a lift back to Dorking at the end of the evening.
If you would like to go on the walk, and you have not done so already, please contact Kate Butcher as we would like to gauge numbers in advance if possible (will need to let the pub know etc!).
Should a national emergency be declared in relation to the extreme heat, we will need to review our plans.
