The shortlist was judged by representatives from the National Campaign for the Arts and from this year’s award partners: Community Leisure UK, Creative Lives, the Local Government Association, Thrive and UK Theatre.

Discussing Mole Valley’s nomination, Hearts for the Arts Award partners said about the Intergenerational Connections Project:

“It is lovely to hear of a project which has so positively impacted a group of people who are most in need of a lift in your community. A beautiful project allowing some to discover their voice and forge new relationships, to the benefit of all involved and showing the power of social prescription.”

The winners of the Hearts for the Arts Awards 2022 will be announced on Valentine’s Day, 14th February 2022.
