You will all be used to ordering your lateral flow tests to test yourselves at home, however some of you may be aware that there have been difficulties in doing this over the past couple of days. You are therefore advised to order packs in reserve, as and when you can, so you can maintain some supplies in reserve.
If there are none available for home delivery, you may be able to collect from a local chemist, though this too has been patchy in recent days so please think ahead.
All staff are strongly encouraged to conduct regular lateral flows – at least twice a week – but for some of you in services working with more vulnerable people, or where protective measures are more difficult, you may be asked to conduct daily lateral flows. If you are having problems please talk to your manager/Executive Head who will seek assistance to source where available.
Please note that our rules remain that you must not come out for work purposes if you have been in contact with an infected individual regardless of the very recent national changes. Any changes will be widely communicated and our Staff Coronavirus pages and office rules will be amended.
