Meadowbank Noise Barrier Installation Nears Completion

Councillor David Draper, Mole Valley District Council’s Cabinet Member for Leisure and Tourism, said: “Encouraging progress has been made on the five meter high reflective acoustic barriers being installed around the Meadowbank Football Ground in Dorking. Work along the north boundary of the ground is 95% complete, so that element is very nearly there. It is really pleasing that the barriers erected to date have already made a difference in reducing the noise levels emanating from the stadium. It is going to take one final push to finish off a really important project which will have a very positive impact on those local residents who live near the stadium.
