Each year MVDC closes for the bank holidays plus one additonal day which is agreed by SLT.
Individual leave allowances were increased in April 2019 to cover this additional day.
This means this year that opening hours will be –
Christmas Eve – Open but phone lines will close at 4pm.
Monday 27th – Closed (Bank Holiday)
Tuesday 28th – Closed (Bank Holiday)
Wednesday 29th – Closed (additional day agreed by SLT)
Thursday 30th – Open but phone lines will close at 4pm
Friday 31st – Open but phone lines will close at 4pm.
Everyone will need to book the additional day (29th) off on itrent.
Please note that this is different to last year when the hours required to cover the additional day were gifted to us by Members in recognition of the work we did during the Covid pandemic.
