At Staff Hub this week we discussed a range of topics:
Health and Safety – Staff Hub have a role as the H&S committee for the Council and therefore staff members can report any health and safety issues to us. This week we reviewed the Hybrid working policy and noted that the policy brings no changes to existing health and safety practices, procedures and requirements. Please always ensure you have carried out a Display Screen Assessment on your workstation, wherever it might be!
Wellbeing – Wellbeing Wednesdays have continued throughout the summer. The next Wellbeing Week will be w/c 13th September and the theme is “digital” wellbeing awareness. Look out for updates on Molly during the week.
Spotlight On…. We are also supporting HR to find staff who are up for helping with the recruitment drive by featuring in a video. We are going for a fast-paced film with edited clips and cameos from people who work here. If you are interested in being involved please let us know at StaffHub@molevalley.gov.uk.
Staff Benefits – Karrp benefits are still available to staff – here is the most recent update: https://stagingmolly.molevalley.gov.uk/2021/03/02/kaarp-benefits-march-2021-update/. We are starting to reconnect with businesses as they come back to our high streets so hopefully we will be able to offer more staff benefits and support local shops very soon.
