On Friday 3rd September the Council will be acknowledging Merchant Navy Day by flying the flag at Pippbrook.
The aim of the day is to raise the awareness, and remember the sacrifices and courage of the often unsung personnel of our Merchant Navy.
The Chairman will be raising the Red Ensign flag at 10am and invites officers working in Pippbrook that day to join him.
