No change for self-isolation rules for Mole Valley staff

Please note that despite government changes to self-isolation requirements, there is no change to the way we are currently operating.

The position remains that if you are informed by Test and Trace or pinged to advise you have been ‘in contact’ with an individual who has tested positive you should not go out for work purposes, make sure you keep your manager aware.

See extract from Karen’s all user email sent on 13th August here:

Monday brings a change to the legislation around self- isolation and, while on the face of it, this appears straightforward there is actually quite a lot to think through, not least because many of you have the potential to come into contact with clinically extremely vulnerable people in the course of your work. Having only received the guidance late last night it is going to take some time to draw up and agree a policy around the rules which will apply to each of us when a close contact is covid positive. In light of this there will be no change in approach in relation to work from 16 August – If you are contacted by Test and Trace or pinged to advise you that you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive you should work from home for the relevant period. This applies to each of us (Pippbrook, Dorking Halls and Park House), including when carrying out visits/inspections/enforcement activities etc) regardless of whether or not you are double jabbed. As soon as we have agreed a new policy we will provide further details”.
