Sunflower Lanyards

Any staff who are exempt from the need to wear face coverings are asked to wear a Sunflower lanyard and to take particular precautions to maintain 2m social distancing at all times.

You should also speak to your manager to make sure he/she is aware.  If your job involves seeing members of the public or attending visits where there is an expectation that you wear a face covering, your manager needs to be aware in order to determine whether any additional measures are needed (e.g. to ensure the use of appointment rooms with Perspex screens).

This means whenever you are moving around any of the MVDC offices or seeing members of the public you must ensure you are wearing either a face covering, or a Sunflower lanyard if you are not able to wear one.

We will keep an eye on any changes to government guidance and inform you of any policy changes as and when available.
