Mole Valley’s Visitor Economy And Leisure Action Plan

On 9 March and 23 March respectively, Mole Valley District Council’s (MVDC) Scrutiny and Cabinet committees will consider the proposed 2021/22 Visitor Economy and Leisure Action Plan.

The plan details how, working with partners, MVDC will move towards recovery from the pandemic by capitalising on the district’s natural environment and history, making the best use of its leisure and cultural services and boosting the visitor economy.

Cabinet Member for Sustainable Economy, Councillor Clayton Wellman, said: “The likely increase in staycations this year is an opportunity for our businesses to generate much-needed revenue and to provide local employment. We know how popular our district is thanks to its wealth of beauty spots and we want to ensure residents and businesses benefit from the marked increase in numbers of people arriving to enjoy Mole Valley’s many attractive features.
