Make It A Mole Valley Christmas! Supporting Local Businesses ‘Mole Valley Together’

News

This week sees the launch of the ‘Make it a Mole Valley Christmas’ campaign which is part of a wider ‘Mole Valley Together’ initiative. A multi-channel, district wide activity encouraging people to shop locally and safely for all their festive gifts. The Mole Valley Together website features over 50 businesses who have submitted their Christmas offers, gifts and details to help their customers navigate Christmas shopping in their own community during this pandemic.

Residents will receive a ‘Make it a Mole Valley Christmas’ festive brochure through their doors from 16th November 2020 onwards highlighting how they can support local businesses in Ashtead, Bookham, Dorking, Fetcham, Leatherhead and other village centres. Much of this can be done via online shopping or via call/click and collect during the current restrictions. Residents are also encouraged to take part in the Christmas Shop Window competition, run by MVDC in partnership with Dorking BID and Mole Valley Chamber. Businesses will be asked to submit photos of their shop windows dressed up for the occasion. Residents will then vote online for the best displays in each town. All participants will enter a prize draw for a chance of winning local goodies.
