You are highly encouraged to use your annual leave – at the time of writing the requirements on quarantine and additional testing have been removed for the UK therefore you now no longer need to let your manager know which countries you are visiting.

You will need to make your own enquiries on requirements for the countries you are travelling to in advance. Some countries still require quarantine on arrival.

Dates of individual annual leave requests will always need specific approval therefore you are advised to discuss annual leave requests and requirements suitably in advance with your manager so that he/she can co-ordinate competing requests across the team and with particular workload pressures in mind.
