51. Can I book an antibody test?

Antibody testing is carried out to see if an individual has already had the virus and it has now been made available to district and borough councils for those in certain roles. You can have an antibody test if your role requires that you complete essential tasks in the community working with vulnerable people such as staff in Housing, Environmental Health or some roles in Mole Valley Life.

Please note that even if antibodies are found to be present, this does not mean you are immune. The test is being used for research purposes at the moment.

Please follow this link for further information, FAQs and how to book a test.

If you are are not considered eligible as described above but would like to have an antibody test, you can book a private test for a fee (payable by the individual) via the Medwyn. Please email HR.Admin if you wish to book a private antibody test.
