Working from home is introduced from time to time as a temporary measure to comply with the government guidance in response to the pandemic and to ensure our people were safe. 

All visits, activities and premises have been risk assessed. 

We are not making any changes to peoples’ work bases or contracts and have no plans to consider this at present. Hybrid working, if agreed applicable to you, is a pilot concession.

Any claims for travelling expenses must be made from your contractual place of work (likely to be MVDC premises as relevant) and your destination, unless the actual route you are travelling (from home) is shorter/cheaper.

You will be consulted separately should it become necessary to change your work base on a permanent basis.
