Yes – in the vast majority of cases you are contracted to work from Pippbrook or another of the local government offices – with expectation to attend any office within reasonable commuting distance or as stated in your contract.

During lockdown and government restrictions – concessions applied in order to reduce transmission.

If you need to use public transport to go out for work purposes, you are advised to:

• wash/sanitise your hands regularly
• keep your distance when you travel, where possible
• you may want to avoid the busiest routes or particularly busy times

You should not travel at all if you are required to quarantine or self-isolate for any reason connected to Coronavirus.
