Essential Training

The following are mandatory training modules that require refresher training to take place periodically, to ensure that you are up to date with current legislation and best practice, as required. Please ensure that you are up-to-date on your essential training requirements below:

• Data Protection Essentials – to be done every 12 months
• Diversity, Equality and Discrimination
• Introduction to Health & Safety
• Freedom of Information
• Safeguarding children, young people and adults – to be done every 36 months
• Display Screen Equipment (DSE) Assessment for staff who use computers – to be done every 24 months

Refreshing Essential Training

You will receive notification via e-mail of any essential training that you are required to complete.  While we will endeavour to ensure you are reminded about any refresher training in plenty of time, you also have responsibility to ensure it is completed on time.  It is a good idea to make a note of the requirements for your refresher training and ensure it is completed on time.
